The Dekker Centre proudly announces the return of On Stage at the Dekker Centre, a showcase for performing artists from the Battlefords and area. Last year’s production of Journey featured 12 artists collaborating in a range of musical styles – everything from rap and country music to jazz and rock.
The 2018 Showcase will take place March 10 and 11. This year, Matthew Armet has taken on the role of director. For over a decade, Matthew has been performing professionally all across Canada including six seasons at The Stratford Festival. He recently moved home to the Battlefords to inspire a new generation of young students with his passion for the arts. With the help of a volunteer committee, Matthew will select exceptional emerging talent and weave the performers into a cohesive production for On Stage at the Dekker Centre.
Auditions for the 2018 Showcase will be Jan. 11 and 13 on the Main Stage at the Dekker Centre.

Whether you love hip-hop, world music, old country, new country, Mozart, or Drake, now is your chance to be onstage at the Dekker Centre.
