Dispute inside gas station nearly results in accident

It was a slow night for the North Battleford RCMP, receiving approximately 15 calls for service between 6 a.m. Sunday, July 27 and 6 a.m. Monday, July 28. Included in those calls were one false alarm, two domestic disputes and a home invasion.

It was a slow night for the North Battleford RCMP, receiving approximately 15 calls for service between 6 a.m. Sunday, July 27 and 6 a.m. Monday, July 28.

Included in those calls were one false alarm, two domestic disputes and a home invasion.

Sunday

8:58 a.m. - Complaint of an altercation from a week ago where a dispute inside the Petro Canada resulted in one of the individuals nearly running the other over with the vehicle. Matter reported to have it brought to the attention of company the vehicle's driver worked for.

12:14 p.m. - 911 call from a 28-year-old woman requesting assistance in removing her 30-year-old boyfriend from the residence after a argument took place.The boyfriend left without incident.

1:13 p.m. - While conducting foot patrol, RCMP came across two intoxicated men. Both were lodged for their own safety, while one was charged for failing to comply with conditions of not to consume alcohol.

1:58 p.m. - Complaint of youths breaking into an abandoned house. RCMP attended, but the house was still boarded up and secure. No signs of entry.

2:30 p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated man on 101st Street. The man waslocated too intoxicated to care for himself, arrested and lodged in cells until he was sober.

3:14 p.m. - Complaint of animals being abused. RCMP were told that a residence was holding caged rabbits and birds, and it appears as though they were being mistreated. Police attended, animals appeared healthy and cared for. The matter will be followed up with by municipal bylaw officers.

3:26 p.m. -Complaint of a domestic assault. A 30-year-old woman reported being assaulted by her boyfriend. Police attended and the boyfriend had already fled. The matter is still under investigation.

9:39 p.m. - Complaint of a 30-year-old woman who just broke up with her boyfriend. The boyfriend is now sitting outside the house. Police attended and the boyfriend only wanted a few belongings back. Police accommodated and the issue was resolved.

10:34 p.m. - Complaint of intoxicated individuals bothering patrons of a McDonald's restaurant. Police attended and arrested two intoxicated women. The women were then lodged until sober and released.

Monday

2:48 a.m. - While on patrol, police located and arrested a 19-year-old man for failing to comply with the conditions of his curfew.

3:04 a.m. - RCMP received a complaint of a 24-year-old woman who entered a residence to use the bathroom and then refused to leave the residence. Police attended, and the female was arrested and lodged in cells.
