Drunk and naked on 107th Street

More than 30 calls for service were reported to the North Battleford RCMP between 6 a.m. Monday, July 28 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 29. There were three false or nuisance 911 calls and one false alarm amongst the calls. Monday 8:24 a.m.

More than 30 calls for service were reported to the North Battleford RCMP between 6 a.m. Monday, July 28 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 29.

There were three false or nuisance 911 calls and one false alarm amongst the calls.

Monday

8:24 a.m. - Complaint that a vehicle had been damaged sometime over the weekend. The driver's window was smashed and change taken from within.

8:37 a.m. - Complaint from a local business that a vehicle parked in their lot had been damaged. The passenger side window had been broken, nothing taken from within.

10:59 a.m. - 911 call to a residence on 101st Street advising a youth was causing problems at the residence by arguing with her mother.

11:00 a.m. - Members were asked to attend the scene of a sudden death. Apparent cardiac arrest.

11:54 a.m. - Complaint received that a woman was attempting to harm herself. Members attended and apprehended the female under the Mental Health Act and escorted her to Battlefords Union Hospital.

1:22 p.m. - Complaint received that a man was operating a motor vehicle with a two-year-old child unrestrained in the vehicle. Patrols were made and the vehicle could not be located.

3:16 p.m. - Motor vehicle collision reported in the 1900 block of 100th Street involving two vehicles resulting in property damage and minor injuries.

3:36 p.m. - A local business reported an intoxicated man outside their establishment, same located by members, arrested and lodged until sober.

4:59 p.m. - Complaint of harassment via text message.

5:04 p.m. - Third party complaint of an assault. Investigation ongoing.

6:45 p.m. - Complaint of break, enter and theft at an address on 103rd Street. Investigation ongoing.

7:01 p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated man walking around naked at an address on 107th Street. He was asked to leave by the complainant but would not. Members attended, arrested, obtained clothing for and lodged the man until sober.

7:12 p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated man who would not leave an address on 105th Street. Members attended, arrested and lodged the man until sober.

7:33 p.m. - Complaint of property damage at an address on 105th Street. An intoxicated woman broke the front door to the residence when asked to leave the residence. The woman was located, arrested and lodged until sober.

8:28 p.m. - Complaint of a possible break and enter at an address on 109th Street. Members attended and learned that the man at the address was looking for the previous occupant to the residence. No break and enter and the man left the premise.

10:05 p.m. - Local business called to advise that they required police assistance as a nine-year-old youth was at the location needing a ride home as his friends left him all alone. A member attended and drove the youth and their bicycle home.

10:15 p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated man causing problems at a residence on 105th Street. Members attended, arrested and lodged the male until sober.

Tuesday

12:03 a.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated man on 14th Avenue. Man was located and arrested for breaching his no-alcohol conditions.

2:18 a.m. - Complaint of suspicious persons in the area of 1300 block of 99th Street. Patrols were made, but nobody located.

3:15 a.m. - Complaint of a suspicious male in the 800 block of 106th Street. Man located and arrested for breaching his no-alcohol conditions and outstanding warrants.

3:45 a.m. - Four suspects going through vehicles on 93rd Street.Suspects described as two men and two women of unknown age.

5:00 a.m. - Report of three suspicious women who appear to be checking out vehicles on 93rd Street. Patrols of area negative.
