One person is dead following a collision between a car and a transport truck near Paynton Wednesday.
The collision happened before 6 a.m. on Highway 16. Those on the scene included Maidstone rural detachment members of the RCMP and Maidstone EMS.
A man was ejected from his vehicle and died on the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
An investigator has been called to the scene from Prince Albert.
Traffic was diverted south on Grid 674 from Paynton to Cut Knife Wednesday morning. The incident is still under investigation.
