Just after midnight. on March 27, Spirtwood RCMP responded to a complaint of a single vehicle collision in the community of Witchekan Lake First Nation, approximately 18km northwest of Spiritwood.
There was one occupant in the vehicle. The lone male occupant is aged 29, from the Witchekan Lake First Nation was declared deceased at the scene.
An RCMP Collision Reconstruction Analyst from Rosetown RCMP Detachment attended to investigate the fatal vehicle collision.
The family of the deceased have been notified.
