MELFORT — Melfort RMCP seized a firearm and arrested three people of interest after an incident at the Melfort Exhibition.
On July 20 at around 7:50 p.m., the police responded to a complaint of a male at the fair with what appeared to be a firearm. An altercation took place between the male and three females. No shots or injuries have been reported.
A fourth person of interest has yet to be located but there is not believed to be a risk to public safety.
Police remain on scene and will continue to have a presence at the fair throughout the weekend. The investigation continues.
