The first numbers have been reported for 2016 building permits in North Battleford, and they are down from a year ago.
Numbers for January 2016 are in and there were four permits issued for $235,000 by the City.
That is down from five for $606,500 for the same month last year, 2015.
The bulk of the January total was from two commercial alterations for $176,000. There was also one residential alteration for $25,000 and one sign permit for $34,000.
The numbers were presented to the monthly Planning Committee meeting held Tuesday in North Battleford.
