A 64 year-old man from North Battleford, who was driving a passenger vehicle involved in a two-vehicle crash also involving a semi, was pronounced dead upon arrival at Battlefords Union Hospital Wednesday.
The collision on the Highway 16 bypass west of the Highway 16- Battleford Road junction has closed the bypass for an undetermined amount of time early that afternoon.
According to a Battlefords RCMP news release, they were attending to the scene of the collision on the bypass.
All east and west bound traffic was be re-routed around the Highway 16-Battleford Road location until the police investigation is complete.
North Battleford Fire Department along with Community Safety Officers worked on coordinating the re-routing of traffic.
