Approximately 10 a.m. Sunday morning, Battlefords RCMP advised the public that Highway 4 has been re-opened to traffic.
On Saturday at approximately 7:30 p.m., Battlefords RCMP received the report of a serious single motor vehicle collision on Highway 4 north of Cochin.
Battlefords RCMP and RCMP Collision Reconstructionist attended the scene. The highway was blocked in both directions and the public was requested to avoid the area and plan alternate routes.
