Hit and run witnesses sought

Aug. 28 at 8:50 p.m., Battlefords RCMP responded to a complaint of a vehicle striking a pedestrian at the intersection of 100th Street and 18th Avenue. The vehicle fled the scene.

Aug. 28 at 8:50 p.m., Battlefords RCMP responded to a complaint of a vehicle striking a pedestrian at the intersection of 100th Street and 18th Avenue. The vehicle fled the scene. A woman was transported to hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries. Battlefords RCMP are requesting public assistance in locating the involved vehicle and driver.

Sometime overnight Aug. 28, a number of tomato cages were stolen from a yard on the 200 block of 16th Street in Battleford.

A red super cycle bicycle was reported stolen from the 900 block of 106th Street Aug. 28. A bike lock was reported to be wrapped around the top handle bar of the bicycle at the time it was taken.

Sometime during the early morning of Aug. 20 a golf cart was stolen from a seasonal lot in the village of Meota. The cart is painted in Harley Davidson colours, black and orange.

Anyone who has information for this or any other crime is asked to call the Battlefords RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

William Marcel Cuthand, 26; impaired operation of a motor vehicle; refusing to provide breath sample; resisting arrest, possession of stolen property, two counts of breach of probation.
