Those seeking to help make North Battleford a healthier and safer community will be hosting a community barbecue this Thursday during the noon hour.
The North Battleford HUB is hosting that barbecue in Central Park between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
It's a chance for people to learn more about the HUB and its initiatives and to meet the groups and individuals involved.
A burger plus pop or water is $4 at the event. Proceeds raised will go to Battlefords Books in Every Home, Inc.
