Battlefords RCMP responded to 53 calls for service from 6 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 4 to 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 5, including the following:
Sept. 4
6:09 a.m.- Complaint of a drunk relative outside of complainant's apartment building on Winder Crescent.
8:05 a.m.- Breach of probation allegation received from Saskatchewan Justice, charges and warrants prepared and subject to be located.
9:14 a.m.- Complaint of a historical sexual assault on a child in North Battleford, investigation ongoing.
11:24 a.m.- Breach of probation allegation received from Saskatchewan Justice, charges and warrants prepared and subject to be located.
11:32 a.m.- Complaint of family member harassing complainant via Facebook.
11:41 a.m.- Complaint of missing youth/runaway from North Battleford youth home.
12:14 p.m.- Complaint of landlord/tenant dispute, complainant to follow up on issue with civil court action.
2:21 p.m.- Complaint of theft of groceries from business in Cochin, investigation ongoing.
3:16 p.m.- Complaint of abandoned vehicle in Battleford, follow-up determined that vehicle was not stolen and parked legally.
4:23 p.m.- Complaint of vehicles and dirt bikes driving aggressively in Battleford, complainant could not identify the drivers, patrols made, but vehicles and dirt bikes were gone on arrival.
5:00 p.m.- Stolen vehicle recovered on 1300 block of 103rd Street in North Battleford.
6:55 p.m.- Complaint of theft of $15.00 in change from car in RM of North Battleford, door pried and significant damage caused by culprits.
7:34 p.m.- Complaint of theft from car on Douglas Ave, occurred overnight, no witnesses or suspects at this time.
9:34 p.m.- Complaint of theft of hubcaps from vehicle on 100 block of 108th Street in North Battleford.
10:12 p.m.- Complaint of break and enter to vacant residence on St. Laurent Drive in North Battleford.
10:31 p.m.- Complaint of theft of garden tools from residence on 17th Street in Battleford.
10:34 p.m.- Complaint of loud party at hamlet of Prince.
Sept. 5
12:02 a.m.- Complaint of persons having a weapon dangerous to the public peace, patrols did not locate suspect vehicle.
12:40 a.m.- Complaint of stolen cellular phone on the Saulteaux First Nation, investigation ongoing.
Police also responded to six false/nuisance 911 calls, 10 minor disturbance reports, two alarms, two Mental Health Act complaints, nine traffic investigations, three minor property damage complaints and four subjects who were arrested for alcohol related offences.
