North Battleford RCMP responded to more than 90 calls for assistance/occurrences between 6 a.m. Friday, June 13 and 6 a.m. Sunday, June 15.

Among those calls were two false/nuisance 911 calls, five municipal bylaw/noise complaints and eight calls for provincial or Criminal Code traffic offences

Friday

8:47 a.m. - Report of theft from motor vehicle on Henderson Drive. Still under investigation.

11:25 a.m. - Report of two women fighting in front of a business on 101st Street. Both women located, arrested, lodged and charged for being drunk in public.

2:39 p.m. - Report of a two-vehicle collision near Highway 16 involving a car and a semi truck. No injuries. Vehicle towed.

4:51 p.m. - Report of a two-vehicle collision near 102nd Street and 12th Avenue. No injuries. Vehicle towed.

6:07 p.m. - Police located an intoxicated 48-year-old man on 102nd Street. He was arrested, lodged and charged for being drunk in public.

7:05 p.m. - Report of a semi truck hitting light post on Railway Avenue.

10:32 p.m. - Report of a disturbance near the 1500 block of 105th Street. Police attended and arrested a 41-year-old man for failing to comply with a condition of his undertaking. The man was remanded into custody and will appear in court June 16.

10:38 p.m. - Report of an intoxicated man trying to enter a residence in the 1600 block of 102nd Street. A 16-year-old male was located and arrested for mischief and for being a minor consuming alcohol. Lodged in cells and released when sober.

Saturday

12:05 a.m. - Report of four teens in a backyard drinking alcohol. 14-year-old male was locate and charged for minor possession of consumable alcohol. This offence comes with a $360 fine.

12:29 a.m. - 911 call received of a man pointing a firearm at the caller and took off in a vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

2:23 a.m. - Police stopped a vehicle on Douglas Avenue. The 19-year-old female driver was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. She has now been charged and released for court.

2:29 a.m. - Police stopped a vehicle on Highway 4 south of North Battleford. The 56-year-old woman driver was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. She has now been charged and released for court.

1:05 p.m. - Report of an intoxicated man in the parking lot of a business on Railway Avenue. A 23-year-old man was located, arrested, lodged and charged for being drunk in public.

1:36 p.m. - Report of an intoxicated driver who collided with a vehicle in the 100 block of 101st Street. A 27-year-old man was located, arrested and is now charged for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. He was released when sober.

8:15 p.m. - Report of a two-vehicle collision on Territorial Drive. One driver charged for changing lanes when unsafe.

10:03 p.m. - Report of an intoxicated woman passed out in the alley. The woman was in the 1100 block of 103rd Street. Police attended and arrested a 53-year-old woman. She has now been charged for resisting arrest, disturbing the peace and failing to comply. She was lodged and released when sober.

10:11 p.m. - Report of an intoxicated man at a business in the 900 block of 101st Street. Police attended and arrested a 23-year-old man for being drunk in public and is now charged for failing to comply with his conditions. He was remanded into custody and will be in court June 16.

10:54 p.m. - Report of a collision in the 1000 block of 110th Street. A 23-year-old woman was located and arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and numerous weapons offences. She is being remanded into custody and will be in court June 16.

Sunday

4:44 a.m. - Report of possible gunshots heard in the Walker Drive area. Patrols were made. Matter still under investigation.

Missing Persons Update

A 14-year-old girl reported missing on Wednesday, June 11 has been located

Brianna Tawiyaka (14), reported missing from a group home Thursday, June 12 is still missing.

Kyren Caisse (13) is still missing. He was reported missing from a youth group home Wednesday, June 11.
