The North Battleford RCMP received approximately 35 calls for service between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17.
The calls included - but were not limited to - four municipal bylaw or disturbance complaints, three false alarms, four traffic investigation or complaints, three missing person complaints and two Mental Health Act complaints.
Tuesday
6:05 a.m. - Complaint of a woman assaulting a man on Trudeau Street. Both fled on foot, could not be located or identified.
11:19 a.m. - While on patrol, a member witnessed a domestic assault. The woman was arrested and released for court. Minor injuries to the man no medical attention required.
11:22 a.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated woman at an address on 101st Street. Members attended and the woman was wanted on numerous warrants. Arrested and held for court.
1:39 p.m. - A motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles occurred at the intersection of Territorial Drive and Highway 16. Minor injuries.Both vehicles had significant damage. Investigation is ongoing.
5:25 p.m. - Complaint of two men fighting in the library park. Members attended. One man arrested and lodged until sober.
5:40 p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated man sleeping on the Provincial Court House lawn. Members attended. The man was arrested and lodged until sober.
5:48 p.m. - Complaint of two children shoplifting from a grocery store.
8:10 p.m. - Complaint of six or seven people consuming alcohol on the hill behind the Provincial Court House. Members attended. Two of the seven arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and outstanding warrants. The others were sent on their way.
11:11 p.m. - Noise complaint at an address on 110th Street. Members attended and warned the home owner.
11:42 p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated woman passed out in front of a business on 11th Avenue. Members attended, arrested and lodged the woman until sober.
Wednesday
3:02 a.m. - Complaint of two men going through a vehicle parked on 100th Street. Members attended and located the two men in possession of stolen property related to the vehicle. Both were arrested and released once sober for court.
