A man has been charged in connection to a fatal crash Oct. 23, 2014 near Grandora that left an Asquith woman dead and another woman from Lashburn seriously injured.
Bradley Dale Townsend, 27, of Edgerton, Alta. was arrested March 25 in Hinton, Alta.
He is charged with being impaired by drug usage causing bodily harm and causing death. He is also facing two dangerous driving charges. All are criminal code offences.
Kristy Lukaszuk from Asquith was pronounced deceased at the scene of the 2014 crash and Victoria Morris from Lashburn sustained what were described as serious injuries.
Police say a lengthy investigation was conducted and the file was sent to Crown prosecutors for opinion on charges.
Townsend will appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court Thursday.
