North Battleford RCMP responded to over 40 calls for service between 6 a.m. Sunday, May 10 and 6 a.m. Monday, May 11.
Sunday
• Report of a vehicle parked on the 1900 block of 102nd Street gone through sometime overnight.
• Hit and run at the Frontier Mall Parking lot at approximately 2 p.m., suspect vehicle described as a white Pontiac Grand Am.
• Home reported to have had eggs thrown at it on McKenzie King Crescent some time between 1 and 5:15 p.m
• Report of a shoplifting incident at a business on Territorial Drive North. Two youth, 12 and 13, apprehended.
• Break and enter to a home on the 600 block of 101st Street sometime between May 8 and May 10. Reported shortly after 8 p.m.
• A 39-year-old man is facing charges of forcible confinement and uttering threats after a reported incident shortly before 10 p.m. The accused is reported to have taken his ex-girlfriend on a drive in the rural area south of Battleford, refusing to take her home or allow her to leave the vehicle and threatened at one point to drive the vehicle into a river. The incident started at approximately 7 p.m. and the victim was eventually able to convince the accused to let her go shortly after 9 p.m. The accused was arrested without incident at a residence in North Battleford at about 10:40 p.m. He remains in custody and made his first appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court on Monday.
• A 16-year-old youth reported to be unlawfully at large at 10 p.m. Failed to return to youth facility from a day pass. Whereabouts remain unknown.
• Report of a missing youth, Adrijana Bucko, 15, reported missing at 10:45 p.m. Last seen at 6 p.m. Last seen wearing a white tank top and black sweat pants.
Monday
• Break and enter at a business on River Valley Drive. Notified by alarm activated at site shortly before 4 a.m. Perpetrator(s) damaged a window and made off with a small amount of property.
Two people were arrested for alcohol related offences. Police responded to two nuisance 911 calls, one child welfare matter, five traffic investigations, eight disturbance complaints, two minor collisions, one mental health act complaint, two alarms and two missing persons who have already been located.
