A suspect has been charged in connection to the suspicious death on Moosomin First Nation.
RCMP say 27-year-old Jeremy Gamble, of no fixed address, has been charged with one count of manslaughter in the death of 23-year-old Brett Frenchman of Moosomin First Nation.
Gamble remains in custody and made his first appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court Tuesday.
Frenchman was found dead on the reserve May 30. RCMP from Battlefords Rural Detachment were called at approximately 1:15 p.m. Saturday following the discovery of a deceased man. The man was reported missing the previous day.
North Battleford Detachment conducted the investigation with help from Major Crime Unit - North, North Battleford Forensic Identification Unit and General Investigation Section and Saskatoon Police Dog Services.
According to the RCMP they are not seeking any additional suspects in relation to the death.
