The new leadership at North Battleford Fire Hall has been announced by the city, with a number of fire department employees receiving promotions to new roles.
Trevor Brice, who took over from Albert Headrick last summer as acting fire chief, is now installed full-time as the Director of Protective Services and Fire Chief for North Battleford. Brice previously served as Deputy Fire Chief of Operations and Training for the department.
Lindsay Holm, who formerly was captain with the department, will now take on Brice’s former role as Deputy Fire Chief of Operations and Training. Jordan Rowswell, former acting captain, now takes over as captain.
Finally, Erinka Jordan has been promoted from her clerical position to a new role as Protective Services Administrative Assistant.
The appointments had been made public on Twitter several days earlier. On Monday night, Brice formally introduced both Holm and Rowswell to council members at their regular meeting at City Hall.
In a statement, city manager Jim Puffalt welcomed the appointments.
“I congratulate all new team members to their promotion. I am grateful that we as a community can continue to draw on their extensive experience which they now can apply to their new roles.”
