Three hundred twenty UAlberta Augustana Campus students have been awarded scholarships and awards for the 2015-16 academic year.
Among them are two Northwest scholars.
Dariya Veenstra, of Maidstone, a third year Bachelor of Arts student, was awarded a total of $1500 for Academic Achievement, funded by An Augustana Faculty Transfer Student Award.
Boyd Wakelin, of Battleford, a third year Bachelor of Management student, was awarded a total of $1,000 for hockey, funded by An Augustana Faculty Award in Hockey.
More than $528,000 was provided by the University of Alberta and Augustana Campus in recognition of excellence in academics, fine arts, athletics, and leadership.
