North Battleford RCMP responded to more than 120 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22 and 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25.
Over the three-day period there were 24 municipal bylaw/noise complaints/disturbance complaints, three complaints of fraud, five complaints relating to child custody agreements/family relations, five false/nuisance 911 calls, 12 traffic related occurrences and 11 false alarms.
Friday
7:51 a.m. - Vehicle parked on 1600 block of 102nd Street overnight entered, electronics and small amount of cash reported stolen.
9:38 a.m. - Shoplifting complaint from a business on Railway Avenue. Incident occurred a week earlier, suspect has been identified on surveillance footage.
1:00 a.m. - Two males arrested on Winder Crescent for public intoxication, located sleeping in a apartment building lobby.
1:17 a.m. - Theft of a black mountain bike from a yard on the 1600 block of 101st Street.
3:35 a.m. - 62-year-old man arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving over .08 after a vehicle stop on 1000 block of 101st Street.
7:34 a.m. - 29-year-old man arrested for public intoxication on 101st Street, found sleeping by patrolling members.
8:00 a.m. - Theft of gasoline from a business on Highway 16, suspect vehicle described as a newer white Dodge truck pulling a white trailer with an older white male driver and a female passenger.
8:14 a.m. - 911 call to a residence of an intoxicated man on site trying to hit people at a residence on 800 block of 108th Street. A 32-year-old man was arrested on scene. No charges pursued due to no co-operation from persons on scene.
8:19 a.m. - Call of an intoxicated man and unwanted person at a residence on 106th Street. 50-year-old man arrested and held in custody until sober.
8:36 a.m. - Members called to a residence on 1800 block of 92nd street on report of some subjects fighting. A 31-year-old man was located in a residence, very intoxicated and arrested for mischief.
9:24 a.m. - Members called back to residence on 800 block of 108th Street on call of unwanted intoxicated person at residence. All persons at the home, four in total, arrested and held in custody until sober to prevent further issues at the residence.
10:24 a.m. - 46-year-old man and 45-year-old woman arrested for public intoxication, located by patrolling members on 101st Street.
Saturday
1:56 a.m. - Report of a vehicle parked on the 1200 block of 107th Street hit with several rounds from a firearm. No one was in or near the vehicle at the time of the incident. Vehicle appears to have been targeted by perpetrator(s), investigation is still ongoing.
4:26 a.m. - Man located by patrolling members on 13th Avenue with alcohol. Ran from police when advised he was under arrest. Was arrested after a short foot pursuit and has since been charged with resisting arrest. Further investigation found man had left his two young children home alone. Both children apprehended by Social Services and investigation is ongoing.
4:44 a.m. - Report of a stolen phone while at a house party the previous night.
8:56 a.m. - 24-year-old man arrested for public intoxication on Thatcher Avenue, held in custody until sober.
9:52 a.m. - 911 call of a residence on Clark Drive, report of a man youth who was intoxicated and causing a scene at residence. Youth was located being restrained by an occupant of the home and arrested without further incident. Accused held in custody until sober and facing Liquor Act charges.
10:13 a.m. - 19-year-old man arrested for public intoxication, almost run over on Territorial Drive by a semi. Held in custody until sober.
10:18 a.m. - Complaint received at detachment of 18-year-old youth at a home on 102nd street who was drunk and had "pooped his pants" and was no longer wanted there. Subject located and arrested, provided a shower at the detachment and held in custody until sober.
11:22 a.m. - 44-year-old man arrested for public intoxication, located sleeping on 110th Street.
Sunday
12:20 a.m. - Report of a man on surveillance camera located stealing alcohol on 101st Street. Investigation ongoing.
12:48 a.m. - 16-year-old youth arrested for public intoxication, found extremely intoxicated on 16th Avenue. Held in custody until able to turn over to a family member later in the morning.
2:16 a.m. - 24-year-old man facing charge of failing to comply with conditions of an undertaking, after a check conducted by member.
2:35 a.m. - Three youths are facing several charges after an incident on Trudeau Street. Several complaints were received in succession of several individuals damaging property and assaulting people in the area. Members located and arrested three youths, two 16 years of age and one 17 years of age, who were taken into police custody. All three were intoxicated at the time of their arrest. An investigation into the incidents has shown them to be involved in a break and enter to a residence on Thompson Crescent. The three youths also assaulted a man outside this first scene before proceeding to Trudeau Street where they are alleged to have damaged at least four vehicles and assaulted two other individuals, one of whom suffered a broken leg. All three youths are facing charges that include assault, assault causing bodily harm, break and enter with intent, and mischief to property. The investigation is ongoing at this time. One youth was remanded in custody and appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court Monday, Aug. 25. The other two youths have since been released to their guardians until their first appearances in September.
2:57 a.m. - Report of an assault at a residence no 103rd Street. Complainant reporting a friend had pushed subject then left area. Patrols for suspect negative. No charges pursued as per wishes of complainant.
3:43 a.m. - 43-year-old man arrested and facing charges of impaired driving and driving over .08 after vehicle stop on 107th Street.
5:09 a.m. - 911 call to a residence on 108th Street reporting a woman rolling around on someone's lawn with no pants on and yelling. 28-year-old woman arrested and held until sober.
5:40 a.m. - 911 call to a residence on 107th Street of a possible assault in progress. 37-year-old man was arrested on scene for assault. Investigation is still ongoing, no charges have been laid as of yet.
8:55 a.m. - Report of a couch stolen from a back yard on 110th Street. Same located and returned to residence by members. Investigation continuing.
10:51 a.m. - A 1995 green Dodge Ram with Saskatchewan licence 454 HFY reported stolen from 16th Avenue over night.
11:28 a.m. - Hit and run at a parking lot off Highway 16 reported. Witness information indicates a GMC Envoy as suspect vehicle, matter remains under investigation.
1:20 a.m. - Report of a window of a residence on 1300 block of 96th Street damaged sometime over previous two days.
1:43 a.m. - Break and enter to an apartment on St. Laurent Drive sometime over previous three days.
1:59 a.m. - 2006 red Chevrolet Cobalt with Saskatchewan licence 811 JEU stolen from 110th Street.
2:53 a.m. - 36-year-old man arrested for public intoxication, found sleeping on sidewalk on 101st Street.
4:47 a.m. - Report of two youths hit with pellets from a pellet gun fired by two other youths on 110th Street. All subjects involved under 12 years of age. All parties and parents spoken to in regards to matter. No charges can be pursued due to age of persons involved.
5:07 a.m. - Window of a residence reported damaged on Douglas Avenue, believed to have occurred shortly before noon.
5:42 a.m. - 33-year-old man arrested for causing a disturbance on Railway Avenue after a report of an intoxicated man walking around area looking to pick fights with people.
7:26 a.m. - 27-year-old man arrested for causing a disturbance by being intoxicated, walking down the middle of Highway 16.
8:03 a.m. - Report of intoxicated persons sleeping in a vehicle on 107th Street. 22-year-old man located on scene arrested and facing charges of obstruction and two counts of failing to comply with conditions of an undertaking. A 19-year-old man was arrested and is facing one charge of failing to comply with conditions of an undertaking and a 40-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication and later released without charges.
8:14 a.m. - 34-year-old woman arrested for public intoxication, found very intoxicated on 101st Street.
Monday
12:26 a.m. - Report of an attempted break and enter in progress at a residence on Ross Crescent. No entry gained, no damage to property found and patrols for any possible suspects negative.
4:13 a.m. - 23-year-old man arrested and facing charges of impaired driving and driving while over .08 after vehicle stop on Highway 4.
