Between 6 a.m. Friday, March 14 and 6 a.m. Saturday, March 15, Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 40 calls for service/occurrences.
Among those were five false alarms and three false/nuisance 911 calls were placed.
Friday
6:11 a.m. - Noisy party complaint on 105th Street. Members attended and had the subject quiet down.
11:33 a.m. - Complaint involving possibly fraudulent bank transactions. Investigation ongoing.
11:37 a.m. - Gas theft at a business on Railway Avenue East. Possible suspect identified. Investigation ongoing.
12:31 p.m. - Harassment complaint made. Suspect warned about behaviour. No charges pursued.
12:35 p.m. - 45-year-old man arrested on 101st Street for public intoxication and outstanding warrants out of Lloydminster.
2:55 p.m. - 14-year-old youth arrested and facing one charge of failing to comply with probation order, threatening staff at youth facility.
3:53 p.m. - Complaint of two persons fighting in an alley off 100th Street. All parties gone prior to police arrival.
5:34 p.m. - 911 call of a man smashing windows at a residence on 114th Street. Suspect was located and arrested. Suspect known to residents of the home, at this time police receiving limited co-operation from victims of property damage.
6:14 p.m. - 911 call of unwanted, intoxicated person at a residence on 108th Street. Individual left when police called and not located.
6:26 p.m. - Report of intoxicated man banging on doors to an apartment building on Winder Crescent and refusing to leave. 28-year-old man was located several blocks away by police and arrested for public intoxication.
8:35 p.m. - 911 call of a vehicle having followed complainant for several miles coming into city and flashing headlights continuously. Suspect vehicle not located. Investigation ongoing.
9:08 p.m. - Report of a possible single gunshot heard on 800 block of 110th Street. No other reports of gunshots made. Initial investigation could not confirm or disprove report.
10:54 p.m. - Report of an emotionally disturbed person from Saskatoon threatening to harm numerous people, claimed to be in possession of firearms and threatened to shoot police. Suspect located and arrested shortly before midnight without incident. No weapons located on individual. Investigation ongoing.
11:27 p.m. - 55-year-old man located on 107th Street arrested on outstanding warrants from Lloydminster,
Saturday
12:57 a.m. - Report of a white 2002 GMC Sierra stolen from the parking lot of a business on Railway Avenue East. Investigation ongoing.
1:42 a.m. - Complaint of noisy party on 109th Street. Members attended and warning issued.
1:55 a.m. - Report of a hit and run in a parking lot in the 1700 block of 100th Street. Suspect vehicle described as a white Chev Impala. Investigation ongoing.
2:33 a.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated man at a business on Railway Avenue East refusing to pay his tab. The 25-year-old man was arrested and will be appearing in court March 17 on charges including failing to comply with conditions of an undertaking as well as a probation order.
2:47 a.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated man running around with no shoes in a soccer field. A 19-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding warrant as well as for failing to comply with conditions of an undertaking. He will also be appearing in court March 17.
5:36 a.m. - Multiple calls of disturbances at an apartment building in the 1400 block of 102nd Street. Members located an intoxicated man who was found to be on conditions of a probation order to abstain from alcohol. Charges pending.
