RCMP continue to look for leads in armed robbery

UPDATE: As of Friday, RCMP continue to look for leads on the two suspects who robbed a store in North Battleford early Thursday morning.

BACKGROUND: On Thursday at 1:28 a.m., Battlefords RCMP were called to a business on the 1700 block of 100th street to a robbery with a firearm.

Two suspects entered the business with their hoods up and faces covered. Before the store employee could ask the males to remove the masks, one male produced a firearm, pointed it at the employee, and the other produced a baseball bat and demanded money. A very small amount of cash was turned over and the males fled the store on foot.

The description of the suspects is as follows:
 
Suspect 1 - Grey Hoodie, blue pants, red shoes, approx 5'10" and heavy set.
 
Suspect 2 - Red and black plaid jacket, black hoodie underneath, grey shoes, approx 5'8" and thin.
 
Anyone with information is asked to conact the Battlefords RCMP or Crimestoppers.
