It was announced at a meeting of Battleford Town Council Monday evening that the RCMP Musical Ride will be coming to Fort Battleford July 13, 2015.
There will be an evening program at 7 p.m., said Town Councillor Gordon Yarde, the Town's representative to the Fort Battleford Management Advisory Group, and the horses will be stabled at the Battleford Arena.
Mayor Derek Mahon noted volunteers are currently being sought for the organizing committee. Those interested in getting involved should contact the Battle River Settlement Foundation.
