Battlefords RCMP responded to approximately 60 matters during the period of 6 a.m. Thursday, April 6 to 6 a.m. Friday, April 7, including the following:

9:54 a.m. – Report of vandalism to school on the 1400 block of 97th Street in North Battleford where a window was broken along with an outdoor light. Investigation ongoing.


10:45 a.m. – Complaint of theft of personnel belongings from a work truck parked in the alley of the 1600 block in North Battleford. Investigation conducted by police, suspect located arrested, charged and belongings recovered.


3:15 p.m. – SOTI issued to an unregistered vehicle driving on Highway 4.


3:55 p.m. – Report of two youth missing from a rural area west of the city, both youth located by police safe and sound in the city.
 
There were 56 other calls for service during this period under provincial and Criminal Code statues.
