More than 30 calls for service/occurrences occupied North Battleford RCMP between 6 a.m. Wednesday, June 11 and 6 a.m. Thursday, June. 12
Among those calls were two false alarms, one false/nuisance 911 call and two traffic complaints.
Wednesday
6:30 a.m. - Hit and run on Douglas Avenue reported. Vehicle struck while parked in driveway sometime between 4 a.m. and time of complaint.
9:13 a.m. - Break and enter to a hotel room on Highway 16 Bypass, television reported stolen.
9:21 a.m. - Vehicle parked on Pearson Avenue gone through sometime overnight.
9:33 a.m. - Theft of a red 2000 Dodge Dakota with licence 711 JEZ from Gardiner Drive, believed linked to the earlier reported hit and run.
10:17 a.m. - Second hit and run, this on Gardiner Drive, reported. Also believed related to stolen vehicle file.
11:41 a.m. - Minor single vehicle collision on 100th Street near 11th Avenue. No injuries.
1:40 p.m. - Report of intoxicated woman on 5th Avenue, 54-year-old woman located and arrested.
1:50 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision on 10th Avenue. No injuries reported, both vehicle sustained damage but were both able to drive away under their own power. Charges pursued against one driver for failing to yield.
2:21 p.m. - Report of a sexual assault from the previous day. Suspect and alleged victim know each other. Matter still under investigation.
3:18 p.m. - Report of a gunshot heard on 1200 block of 106th Street. Other witness reported seeing a firecracker go off. No suspect(s) located.
4:22 p.m. - Complaint of intoxicated people drinking and causing a disturbance on 101st Street. A 58-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man both located and arrested for causing a disturbance, charges still pending.
5:41 p.m. - Damage to rental property on 109th Street reported.
6:15 p.m. - Shoplifting complaint from a business on Railway Avenue East. Surveillance footage available and awaiting review.
6:27 p.m. - Report of a man on 1700 block of 100th Street who punched out a vehicle window. 47-year-old man located and arrested, has been charged with one count of mischief.
7:00 p.m. - Report of a 14-year-old girl missing, last seen on 15th Avenue at about 4 p.m. Has since been located.
8:35 p.m. - Report of an attempted break and enter to a home on 105th Street, sometime in last four days. Complainant noticed some damage to a window.
9:23 p.m. - Report of a bunch of intoxicated people on 101st Street. Members located and arrested seven individuals for public intoxication. A 51-year-old woman, 56-year-old man, 48-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman are all facing charges under the Liquor Act. A 46-year-old woman, 52-year-old man and a 41-year-old man held in custody until sober.
11:50 p.m. - Report of unwanted person at a residence on 99th Street. A 32-year-old man located on scene, intoxicated and refusing to leave, was arrested and held in custody until sober.
Thursday
1:49 a.m. - 35-year-old man arrested on 107th Street for warrants out of another detachment. To appear in North Battleford Provincial Court Thursday.
