Shoplifting incidents investigated

Battlefords RCMP responded to approximately 20 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Monday, March 24 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 25. Two alarms responded to were found to be false.

Battlefords RCMP responded to approximately 20 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Monday, March 24 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 25.

Two alarms responded to were found to be false. One false/nuisance 911 call was fielded and members also received two complaints relating to child custody agreements.

Monday

7:27 a.m. - Wallet stolen from a parked vehicle on 1700 block of 110th Street sometime during the night.

8:04 a.m. - Break and enter to a business. Tools, camera among items reported missing.

8:16 a.m. - Hit and run to a vehicle parked on 1500 block of 98th Street sometime in previous 24 hours.

1:39 p.m. - Shoplifting complaint. Occurrence from evening of March 22. Two suspects have been identified. Investigation ongoing.

3:30 p.m. - 24-year-old man wanted on Canada-wide warrant for parole violation located at a residence in city and arrested.

5:27 p.m. - Two shoplifters reported at a business on Carlton Trail. Merchandise recovered by business, suspects fled on foot. Described as two non-white females, one with blonde hair, both wearing black jackets.

5:53 p.m. - Complaint of male causing a disturbance at a business, intoxicated and refusing to leave. 77-year-old man located and arrested.
