Friday during the noon hour, supporters of the Saskatchewan Transportation Company rallied outside MLA Herb Cox’s office against the government’s decision to close STC at the end of the month.
A large group of demonstrators, which included members of the CUPE union, heard speeches and waved placards in support of STC and against the Brad Wall government during the rally.
A petition was also available for people to sign to express opposition to the STC cuts.
