Suspicious activity in alley off of 104th Street

Approximately 32 calls for service occurrences were reported between 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, including, two false alarms, one erratic driving complaint and one false or nuisance 911 call. Monday 7:07 a.m.

Approximately 32 calls for service occurrences were reported between 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, including, two false alarms, one erratic driving complaint and one false or nuisance 911 call.


Monday


7:07 a.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated woman staggering in a back alley off of 101st Street. Members attended and the woman was arrested for being drunk in a public place and lodged in cells until sober.


8:44 a.m. - Complaint of an abandoned vehicle in a local business parking lot that appeared to have been rummaged through. Still under investigation.


9:44 a.m. - Complaint of property damage to a construction company's compound. The fence was damaged and lights smashed out. A baseball bat was left on scene. Still under investigation.


1:07 p.m. - Two-vehicle motor vehicle collision on 100th Street, minor damage and no injuries.


1:27 p.m. - Complaint of theft of bolt cutters from a local business. Still under investigation.


2:22 p.m. - Complaint of intoxicated person at address trying to get into residence. Complainant was concerned for the small child with the intoxicated person. Members attended and arrested the intoxicated man on outstanding warrants and the child was turned over to sober family members. The man was released from police custody once sober with court documents.


3:40 p.m. - Complaint of property damage to fence located in the 900 block of 109th Street. It appeared that a vehicle drove through a vacant lot and through the fence.


6:28 p.m. - Complaint of suspicious activity at an address on 101st Street. Still under investigation.


7:46 p.m. - Complaint of a disturbance outside a local business on 101st Street. Two intoxicated men arguing and harassing people. Members attended and the two men were arrested and lodged until sober. Upon release they were issued tickets for being intoxicated in a public place.


7:57 p.m. - Complaint of a missing person. Still under investigation.


8:21 p.m. - Complaint of suspicious activity in an alley off of 104th Street. The complainant believed that the occupants of a vehicle may be involved in drug trafficking. Still under investigation.


8:52 p.m. - Complaint of a stolen vehicle that was parked outside a business overnight. Still under investigation.


9:08 p.m. - Complaint of an eight-year-old child being attacked by a black dog that exited a yard on 95th Street. The child was taken to the hospital and treated. Still under investigation.


10:24 p.m. - Complaint of a woman being pushed down by an ex-boyfriend and her cell phone smashed. Still under investigation.


10:25 p.m. - Complaint of a youth out past curfew. Members attended to find the youth at home and not in violation of his court order.


10:35 p.m. - Complaint of vehicle fire on Wearing Road. Still under investigation.


10:38 p.m. - Complaint of intoxicated woman on 101st Street. Members attended, arrested and lodged the woman until sober.


10:53 p.m. - Complaint of theft of truck which occurred sometime throughout the day. Still under investigation.


11:16 p.m. - Complaint of harassing phone calls from one woman to another. The aggressor was spoken to and warned by member.


Tuesday


12:17 a.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated man in the hospital. Members attended and he was arrested and lodged in cells until sober.


12:42 a.m. - Complaint of intoxicated woman caring for children. Members attended and she was intoxicated and became assaultive towards police. The woman was arrested and lodged until sober. The children were apprehended by Social Services.


1:36 a.m. - Complaint of a loud party on Ross Crescent. Members attended and warned the homeowner.


2:34 a.m. - Complaint of loud people in an apartment above complainant on 111th Street. Members attended and warned occupants.


2:48 a.m. - Complaint of a loud party in the 1000 block of 110th Street. Members attended and heard loud voices and a loud TV. Homeowner warned.


5:00 a.m. - Complaint of a youth breaching curfew at a local group home. Still under investigation.
