Tisdale man arrested after police receive complaint of man pointing firearm at neighbours

TISDALE — A 31-year-old Tisdale man has been charged after Tisdale RCMP responded to a complaint about a person pointing a firearm at neighbours during an argument.

TISDALE — A 31-year-old Tisdale man has been charged after Tisdale RCMP responded to a complaint about a person pointing a firearm at neighbours during an argument.

Police said officers from the Tisdale and Melfort RCMP detachments located the individual, contained the scene at a Tisdale home, established communication with him and arrested him without any incident at approximately 1:45 am on Aug. 29.

RCMP said they searched the residence for the firearm and located a pellet gun that was a realistic replica of an AR-15.

Jamie Lynx has been charged with possession of an imitation weapon dangerous to public peace assault with a weapon and failure to comply with a release order condition.
