TISDALE — Tisdale Middle & Secondary School was locked downas a safety precaution after a threat was made on social media.
Tisdale, Melfort, Nipawin and Hudson Bay RCMP responded at approximately 8:50 am on Sept. 27.
Police quickly contained the scene. The suspect, an 18-year-old man, was located at a residence and taken into custody without incident. He has been charged with uttering threats and will appear in Melfort Provincial Court Sept. 28.
The hold and secure has since been lifted. RCMP are still investigating.
