North Battleford RCMP responded to over 30 calls for service between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31. Police are seeking information into the following incidents:
Tuesday
• Received notification of a male who did not self surrender for an intermittent sentence as scheduled to do so on Dec. 28. Richard Wuttunee, 24, of the Red Pheasant First Nation is now facing one new count of being unlawfully at large and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
• A 2010 VW Golf, grey in colour, with Saskatchewan License 519 HRU reported stolen from a residence on the 1900 block of 95th Street at approximately 8:40 a.m. while left warming up.
• Report of a theft of a digital tablet, believed to have occurred on Dec. 26 or 27 from a residence on the 1400 block of 101st Street. Suspect and victim are known to each other. Investigation is still ongoing.
• Call shortly after 6 p.m. of two males on the 1400 block of 99th Street attempting to gain entry into a parked vehicle. Subjects left when confronted by caller without gaining entry. One suspect described as wearing a yellow jacket.
• Report of a disturbance made shortly before 11 p.m. Caller was upset and wanted police to do something about a disturbance, however, they didn't want to provide any location, real address, names or any other details about what was actually going on.
Over the noted time period, North Battleford RCMP also made five arrests relating to alcohol offences. Other investigations included six traffic investigations, three alarms responded to, three Mental Health Act investigations, one minor disturbance, one Child Welfare Act investigation and one reported minor collision.
