The North Battleford RCMP were busy yesterday, receiving more than 40 calls for service between 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 29 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 30.

The North Battleford RCMP were busy yesterday, receiving more than 40 calls for service between 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 29 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 30.

Included in those calls for service were 10 traffic-related complaints,three false alarms and five municipal bylaw or noise complaints.

Tuesday

7:20 a.m. - Theft of cash and personal property from a vehicle parked on 18th Avenue overnight.

10:43 a.m. - Complaint of assault made. Statements obtained, minor injury. Charges currently pending against one suspect. Investigation ongoing.

11:05 a.m. - Complaint of a male operating a motor vehicle with a small child without child restraint. Patrols made the vehicle was not located.

2:00 p.m. - Complaint of assault relating to a domestic situation. Investigation ongoing.

2:04 p.m. - Local doctor's office called requesting assistance locating a patient for an urgent matter.

5:37 p.m. - Complaint of three intoxicated persons harassing people for money on 101st Street, then later outside a business on a 102nd Street. Members attended and had the people move along.

6:14 p.m. - Complaint of two men harassing people for money on 101st Street. Members attended and the two men could not be located.

7:40 p.m. - Complaint of man at the Tim Hortons on Territorial walking through the drive-thru harassing staff, then walking into the restaurant and harassing staff. Police attended, but the suspect left before police attended.

8:36 p.m. - Complaint ofa physical altercation on 98th Street after two intoxicated individuals were taunting a homeowner's dogs. The suspects left after the homeowner confronted them.Suspects not located.

9:11 p.m. - A complaint of house party blasting music in a downstairs residence on 101st Street.

9:45 p.m. - 38-year-old man facing charges of failing to comply with an undertaking, not home for curfew check.

9:50 p.m. - Complaint of a woman attending an apartment block that she is currently banned from attending. Police attended and escorted the woman home without incident.

11:19 p.m. - Call of a suspicious male on 99th Street who may havea gun.Suspect located and no firearm in his possession.

11:30 p.m. - Complaint of a man carrying a shotgun wrapped in a blanketin and around Scotiabank. Police attended andlocated several men in connection. The shotgun was found to be a samurai sword. Two adult men arrested. 28-year-old man facing charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.26-year-old manfacing charges of failing to comply with conditions of an undertaking. The investigation is ongoing.

11:35 p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated driver on 112th Street. Police attended, however the suspect vehicle was parked upon police arrival. No further action taken.

11:49 p.m. - Complaint of two youths throwing rocks at buildings along 101 Street. Police attended, however the youths were gone upon arrival.

Wednesday

12:31 a.m. - Report of a missing adult man, last scene at 11 a.m. the previous morning. Initial checks at several locations negative. The man was located safe shortly after 7 a.m.

1:35 a.m. - Vehicle driving erratically on 106th Street struck a fence before fleeing scene.Couple other complaints about a similar described vehicle over the next hour or so.Vehicle was located by members shortly before 3 a.m. on 110th Street, abandoned. Vehicle seized and towed and investigation is continuing.

4:25 a.m. - Report of two suspects trying to get into a vehicle on 112th Street, but unable to gain entry.Fled north.

5:42 a.m. - Several 911 calls received regarding a dispute at a residence on 105th Street. Members attended and located two individuals having a loud argument. Man was found to have several outstanding warrants for his arrest and taken into custody.
