Two-vehicle collision on Highway 16 West

The North Battleford RCMP received approximately 30 calls for service between 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 30 and 6 a.m. Thursday, July 31.

The North Battleford RCMP received approximately 30 calls for service between 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 30 and 6 a.m. Thursday, July 31.

Amongst those calls, there were three false alarms,three traffic complaints or occurrences,five municipal bylaw or noise complaints, two false or nuisance 911 calls and one occurrence relating to child welfare or custody.

Wednesday

6:26 a.m. - 22-year-old man arrested and charged with failing to comply with undertaking, located intoxicated and sleeping in an apartment building entrance on 111th Street.

8:22 a.m. - Report of a vehicle some time overnight running into some outdoor plugins at an apartment building on 109th Street.Related to a vehicle seizure from early morning hours.

8:55 a.m. - Report of a certified patient escaping care.Search of area and suspected destinations, and subject located within an hour south of the town on Battleford and returned.

1:09 p.m. - Report of three people drinking on 101st Street. 46-year-old man, 50-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman all located and arrested for public intoxication. All also facing charges under Alcohol and Gaming Regulations Act.

1:17 p.m. - Complaint of uttering threats at a business. Suspect known and identified.Investigation ongoing.

4:57 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision on Highway 16 West near King Hill.One vehicle appears to have side swiped a second vehicle.No injuries reported. Both vehicles did sustain damage.

6:38 p.m. - 51-year-old woman arrested for causing a disturbance after report of a woman on 101st Street refusing to leave a business and disrupting customers. Held in custody until sober.

8:15 p.m. - 13-year-old youth arrested at a residence on 103rd Street for numerous outstanding charges from Prince Albert.To be remanded and returned to their point.

10:51 p.m. - 16-year-old youth arrested and facing charges of failing to comply with probation, located intoxicated and in violation of a court imposed curfew.
