Potential COVID-19 exposure at Regina businesses

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is notifying the public that an individual who tested COVID-19 positive visited the following businesses when the individual was likely infectious:

August 23 – Save on Foods, 4520 Albert Street South, from 6 to 6:45 p.m.

August 24 – Evolution Fitness South, #100 3615 Pasqua St., from 1 to 2 p.m. (using free weights)

August 27 – Great Canadian Brewhouse, 4820 Gordon Rd., from 8 to 10 p.m.  

Potential COVID-19 exposure at Regina International Airport

Saskatchewan Health Authority is notifying the public that an individual who tested COVID-19 positive visited the Regina International Airport when the individual was likely infectious on Sunday, Aug. 23 between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. 

 

The individual was in several areas of the airport, including visiting the Tim Horton’s business that is located in the secure area of the airport to the left of the screening area, prior to boarding a flight. This person is from a different province and that province will provide further information about the flights.

Public Health officials are advising individuals who were at this location on the specified date during the specified time to immediately self-isolate if they have had or currently have symptoms of COVID-19 and to call HealthLine 811 to arrange for testing. All other individuals who are not experiencing symptoms should self monitor for 14 days. It is important to note that individuals may develop symptoms from two to 14 days following exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19.
