Battlefords RCMP responded to 69 calls for service over the time period Wednesday, April 5, 2017, 6:00 a.m. to Thursday, April 6, 2017, 6:00 a.m., including but not limited to the following:
12:26 a.m. - Police called to a complaint of theft of wallet from a vehicle. The vehicle was parked on the 1900 block of 100 St. in North Battleford.
3:43 p.m. - Police attempted to conduct a vehicle stop, in a community south of Battleford. The vehicle sped up, and struck a second oncoming police vehicle. The 17 year old male driver attempted to flee on foot, and was apprehended. Two other adult male individuals in vehicle were also arrested. Charges are pending against the driver of the vehicle.
7:30 p.m. - A white Chevrolet Cruz parked on Clarke Drive had its tires slashed.
8:06 p.m. - Police responded to a complaint of Uttering Threats in North Battleford. Investigation revealed a 15 year old male youth had made threats to a 13 year old male youth. The 15 year old also attended to a school with weapons and made further threats; he then fled the scene. Both youth have been identified to police and the situation is being addressed, no one was physically injured and investigation is ongoing.
