WCP signs MOU in Changchun, China

The agreement was signed by Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership (STEP) president and CEO Lionel LaBelle, on behalf of company, in conjunction with a trade mission to China.

"The MOU solidifies the intent between our two companies to co-operate bilaterally regarding the use of animal feed and animal feeding practices," said WCP president and CEO Margaret Skinner.

"WCP is looking forward to working with the highly respected Haoyue group."

"Several research feeding trials involving our 'high fat' pelleted feed product have been completed by the University of Saskatchewan and the Beef Development Centre," said WCP general manager Dean Skinner.

"It has taken nearly eight years to develop the new product from concept to marketplace and the research results have all been very positive. WCP recognizes the contributions of the Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership, the Saskatchewan Ministry of the Economy and the University of Saskatchewan in making our international debut a resounding success," Skinner added.
