WDM looking for volunteers

The Western Development Museum in North Battleford is looking for a host of volunteers in 2012.

The Western Development Museum in North Battleford is looking for a host of volunteers in 2012.

The museum is promising an exciting and productive year and staff say volunteers play a huge role in event planning, co-ordination and implementation, whether they are able to participate only once or on an ongoing basis.

Ambitious plans are in the works for numerous public events in 2012. Many different opportunities will be available for people of all ages to volunteer. There is a particular need to increase the amount of volunteers in the food services group, because food concessions are set up at every event the museum hosts. They add people in our community are the big winners when everyone works together toward a common goal.
