At Monday’s meeting of council members, the Town of Battleford announced a public budget deliberation session will take place Monday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. Town officials will present the 2019 budget Jan. 7.
Upcoming capital projects include the old St. Vital Church, the Finlayson Island bridges, and a new lagoon system, yet discussions around these projects are ongoing.
When asked if there would likely be zero increase, Mayor Ames Leslie said “probably not.”
