On Saturday, Aug. 1, just before 6 p.m., La Ronge RCMP received a report from La Ronge EMS advising of a drowning at the Bell’s Point Beach located on the Lac La Ronge Indian Band. Upon arrival, officers located a 42-year-old male on the beach.

On Saturday, August 1, 2020, Shellbrook RCMP received the report of a two-vehicle collision between Highway 693 and White Star Road, north of the community of Holbein. EMS and Shellbrook Fire and Rescue also attended the scene.
