HUMBOLDT — Taxes for Humboldt’s residents and businesses will be less than expected at budget time. The budget, passed on Dec. 9, assumed a 2.4 per cent tax levy increase.

North Battleford city council has voted to award the 2020 Capital Works Projects Roadways Contract 2 to G&C Asphalt, a Division of N.P.A. Ltd. in the amount of $2,640,475.18 plus GST. According to a city memo, the city received three bids on May 15.
