SHA to expand capacity, looking at field hospitals in community centres and gymnasiums

While the Saskatchewan Health Authority said it appreciates the public interest in donating supplies to help its point-of-care providers, they are asking people to pause the donations for a few days.

Saskatchewan RCMP officers are working with Saskatchewan Health Authorities to investigate calls about people violating public health orders and not abiding by the mandatory self-isolation. The mandatory order came into effect March 21.

"We're going to be full-blown 5,000 cases in North Battleford in two weeks."

HUMBOLDT — Around $6,000 worth of tools and diesel fuel were stolen from a trailer located at a commercial grain terminal off Highway 5 west of Humboldt. The crime took place between the evening hours of March 22 and the morning of March 23.

EAST CENTRAL — After taking a test, it was found that a local MP does not have COVID-19. Randy Hoback, the MP for Prince Albert, got the negative results on March 24.

Premier Scott Moe was joined by chief medical health officer Dr. Saqib Shahab on Monday to provide an update on COVID-19. As of Monday, Saskatchewan has 14 new confirmed cases, bringing the total to 66 in the province.

In a news release the town of Battleford states it will not be disconnecting water services during the Saskatchewan Government’s State of Emergency. According to the town, utility bills will be mailed/emailed at the end of April.
