Aggressive behaviour by a suspicious individual in a rural area near Highway 29 north of Wilkie has resulted in an arrest warrant being issued for Sean Reid Schille, 38. Schille is wanted on several criminal code charges. At approximately 4:45 p.m.

The Burton Lake trail will continue to be developed after city council approved the spending of $10,000 on the trails by the Community and Leisure Services Department.

Lower speeds in school zones

As fun as the Humboldt Downtown Business Improvement District’s 9 (BID) Streetfest has been, they will be making to changes to the fifth annual two-day event that fills Humboldt's downtown for Aug. 17-18.

Humboldt has been added to the Great Benjamin Circus tour list with two shows on Aug. 21 at the Elgar Petersen Arena.

The winners have been announced for the Battleford Parade, which took place in the streets of Battleford Friday evening. In the auto-antique category the WDM was awarded first prize for its 1953 Chevrolet.
