Five reports of erratic driving were among the approximately 25 calls for service/occurrences dealt with by Battlefords RCMP between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26.

The sexual assault case against Harry Michael Dekker remains in mediation for at least the next several weeks. The case came up again in provincial court in Saskatoon Tuesday morning.

The provincial government is now calling for the federal government to step in and end the issues plaguing the shipment of grain.

Battlefords RCMP responded to an unusual number of false/nuisance 911 calls between 6 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 and 6 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24. Among the more than 40 calls for service/occurrences responded to were nine of those calls.
