Three days of competitive Senior AA Tier 3 provincial baseball action ended Sunday with the Cabri River Rats taking the provincial title.

The Border City Blue Jays have wrapped up the championship of the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League. The Blue Jays ended up sweeping the Lloydminster Twins in the best-of-three series.

Baseball has taken Humboldt’s Jayden Huls to various Canadian cities, and it will do so once again. Huls was one of 20 players selected to represent Saskatchewan at the upcoming 2018 Baseball Canada Cup Championships in Moncton and Dieppe, N.B. Aug.
