The Battlefords North Stars' first trip to the Western Canada Cup may prove to be the only one they'll get to make.

Having won a silver medal a year ago in the mixed doubles event, Grade 11 students Megan Sutherland and Jacob Mamer were determined to bring a gold medal back to Wilkie.
