The good harvest weather is tough to find as it is dewy now until almost noon and is getting dark just after supper. Oh where, oh where did summer go? This almost feels like November weather.

Dear Editor This poem was written because of the bullying that is becoming rampant in our society. I have been bullied myself when I was in school and very young. It went on from elementary school until I graduated from high school.

Ed, my neighbour next door, never lacks a ready curiosity. Arriving home from our trip to a family wedding in Ontario, Ed had a few questions to get answered. I always know the questions will be where, why and what with Ed.

Dear Editor Did you know that 18 million Canadians are members of at least one of the 9,000 plus co-operatives across this country? In fact, many members themselves might not even realize that they belong to one.

One of my wintertime guilty pleasures is watching cooking shows on the idiot box. It's not the best plan for dieters but, if you love to cook, it's a great place to get inspired and to update your menus.
