His eye is on my sutures
This week my doctor removed a very tiny growth from my nose. It was tucked in the corner beside my eye and although I'm not the least bit worried about it, it was the two stitches that caused my discomfort.

Another nice week of harvest weather. I had a hoar frost rain marked for Sept. 17-18. The moon was not tipped according to father-in-law Bob Polinsky), so we got no rain, but we did get some cool weather.

Ed, my neighbour next door, has been watching me pick up apples every day. Our one apple tree is covered with apples. It has been the first to ripen, and to shed its apples, on the ground each day.
