LUSELAND - The wind did not deter riders who participated in a local MS Ride in Luseland Sept. 18.
A total of $29,754 was raised by this family team for this year’s event, thanks to support from family, friends and the community.
The profound effect on the Flahr family from Luseland spawned their involvement in this national awareness and fundraising campaign benefitting Multiple Sclerosis. https://www.sasktoday.ca/north/unity-wilkie-press-herald/profound-effect-on-luseland-family-spawns-ms-fundraising-efforts-4258337
The community came out to support the team both in riders and cheerleaders. Additionally, a drive-through barbecue was hosted contributing $3,070.75 to the cause, sponsored and hosted by Luseland Credit Union, Delta Co-op and Luseland Family Foods.
