Update: 82-year-old man missing from Canora located safe

CANORA — Update 2: Roland “Rollie” Wilcox has been located safe.

Update 1: Investigation has determined Roland “Rollie” Wilcox was in Moose Jaw during the morning of Aug. 4.

Canora RCMP are following up on information that he may have been spotted west of Good Spirit Lake during the evening of Aug. 4, though his current whereabouts are unknown.

Police say he may appear confused or disoriented.

Investigators continue to ask anyone who has seen Roland or knows where he is to contact Canora RCMP by dialling 310-RCMP. Information can also be submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.

Wilcox was last seen on Aug. 4 around 3:30 p.m. on 5th Avenue West in Canora. He is described as 5'6'", 180 lbs, grey hair, light facial hair and wears glasses. He was wearing a black short sleeve shirt, camo hat, blue jeans and black shoes. He drives a 2005 grey/silver, Ford Focus, Sask. plate 565LNI.
