David (Dave) Josephson, 73, of Saskatoon, SK, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025. Born in Regina, SK to Bertil and Bernice Josephson. Dave would go out of his way to help anyone in any circumstance unconditionally, he truly had a big heart. He was always a man of his word who believed in the bond of a firm handshake and the word of trust. Dave was an avid football fan and rarely missed watching a CFL game. Dave was very happy while on his farm in Radville farming, raising red roan Belgian horses, and enjoyed camping and fishing. With an entrepreneurial spirit, he branched off many business ventures helping the communities he served.
Dave is survived by his girlfriend Cathy Wheten; five children Jason (Amy) Josephson, Sheresse (Trevor) Lanyon, Charlene (Luke) Watson, Cassandra (Kyler) Scarlett, and Madison Josephson; six grandchildren Mya (Eric) Josephson, Corbin Josephson, Josie Watson, Marcus Huntus, Zeffea Lanyon, and Fenja Lanyon; two brothers Leo (Shirley) Josephson and Eldon Josephson, sister Gloria Leflar, sister-in-law Joan Josephson; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Dave was predeceased by his first son Jason Bertil Josephson, brother Del Josephson, brother-in-law Fritz Leflar, and sister-in-law Audrey Josephson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ali Rajput Endowment (Parkinson's Research Fund).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Weyburn Green Acres Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
