SASKATOON — Three teens, ages 15, 16 and 17, are facing charges after a bear spray incident at a home in the 500 block of Avenue G South on Friday.
At approximately 6:30 p.m., July 18, police were called to the home where the occupants reported being threatened by a group of male teens who were armed with bear spray. At the time officers were unable to locate the suspects in the area.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., officers were called to the address once again, this time the occupant reported that his doorbell rang and upon answering it, he was bear sprayed. The 58-year-old man was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Officers located three suspects matching the description in nearby Victoria Park.
The teenagers are now facing charges of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, carrying a concealed weapon and uttering threats. One teen is also facing a charge of assault.
They were all released on an undertaking with upcoming court dates.
